The future is lagging.

About
I am currently looking for a hardware-related job near Englewood, FL. I am an Electrical Engineer with a couple of years of experience in product design, fabrication, and sales. I worked with simulations, CAD, and ROI programs. I graduated from the University of Florida, Go Gators! My wife Sara and I just had our first son in February and surrounded ourselves with our family back in Southwest Florida. Getting back into golf, learning Spanish, and going for hikes and walks in parks are some things I am enjoying right now. If you want to see more about me, keep scrolling and check out my experience page!
Spark Bark
During my senior year of high school I was in a program called Jackson CEO (creating entrepreneurial opportunities). This was to connect students with industry leaders in their communities and learn from business owners and managers.Â
The end goal of this program is for every student to create a full business plan and present their business in a showcase. After creating a full business plan, we presented the idea and funds required to a bank to determine if they would give a loan to us which was successful for me.
My business was Spark Bark, an artisan boxes and woodworking business. My specialty was etching wood with a high voltage creating a fractal pattern and using that to make a box. I even hired a local artist to make a logo and then trademarked the logo and name.
I was also selected to speak on behalf of my fellow students on our local news station to promote Jackson CEO.

Geek Squad
CONSULTATION AGENT
For a few months I worked in Geek Squad as a consultation agent. I was someone at the front desk and diagnosed any simple problems or wrote instructions for repair. I would have to thoroughly communicate what the client wanted and hear their frustrations. I was top 3 in sales for a couple months in a row as well even though I was one of the newest employees.
Cardboard Boat Regatta

At John A. Logan College in Carbondale, IL, there is a cardboard boat regatta every year for folks to create a boat out of cardboard to race in. The team I was in managed to create a very sturdy boat, arguably the most important part, and won the race!
