Experience

Cognituv
Simulations, Estimations, Fabrication
Small teams force learning and expediency. Because of this, I learned to design products mechanically and electronically. I developed and built a contact list for vendors for all the components we selected for the products. Streamlining the manufacturing between multiple facilities was the next greatest hurdle to deliver on time, as most products were made to order. Simulations were part of the design and product deployment process for the customers and internal review to provide extremely accurate services and to improve our products next design. To improve the sales process, I developed custom calculators for quoting projects and customers' return on investment. More details to come!
Steady Head
2ND PLACE - SENIOR DESIGN
A golfer's head is supposed to remain steady through the swing; our heads bobbled like a dashboard hula girl. My friend and senior design partner Nicolas Montoya started playing golf in 2021 and found it challenging. To help us, we wanted to see what our head was doing through the swing. We did this by placing a sensor on our heads and back and showing the movement on an Android app made through Unity. PCB design, external interfacing, and a custom wireless charger were big parts of this project. More details here!

PCIE and Me
COLLINS AEROSPACE INTERNSHIP
It was the summer of 2021 in beautiful Melbourne, FL and I am in the office looking at a Xilinx development board with perplexity. I was tasked to interface an avionics full-duplex switched Ethernet (AFDX) card via PCIE on the new Xilinx processors they would be using moving forwards. We were unable to interface the card directly, but crossed off many problems it could have been. Read more here!
VEX Robotics
Programming, Mechanicals, Analyses
I participated in VEX Robotics throughout high school. As part of a SkillsUSA competition, my partner and I made it to the national competition! Click here to learn more.
